Singer Omah Lay, whose real name is Stanley Omah Didia, has revealed that he once considered converting to Islam.
Despite being raised in a Christian household, Omah Lay explained that he has shifted away from organized religion and now focuses on his personal connection with God.
In a recent interview with media personality Wunmi Bello, Omah Lay shared that as he began to achieve financial success, he reevaluated his beliefs and became less concerned with religious affiliations.
He emphasized his belief in the existence of God but expressed doubts about religious texts and the origins of their teachings.
Omah Lay said, “As soon as I made money, I just switched; I just believed in God and became more human than religious. I don’t just enjoy religion anymore.
