British rapper Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, known as Stormzy, has taken to social media to express his support for Palestine and call for an end to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
In a post on his verified Instagram account, Stormzy emphasized his commitment to standing with the oppressed whenever there is injustice in the world, regardless of its scale.
He also mentioned his dislike for social media while expressing his appreciation for connecting with his fans through it.
In addition to his stance on global issues, Stormzy shared his interests in learning to play the tabla, golf, and chess, and even expressed a desire to take up horse riding to own a black horse reminiscent of the one from the Lloyds TS8 advert, which he humorously called “Skeng.”
He concluded his message by promising his fans more updates, with the hope of sharing new music in the near future.
