How pregnant Indian TV star Priya died of heart attack

Dr. Priya, an Indian television personality, has tragically passed away from a heart attack at the young age of 35, even as she was eight months pregnant.

The expectant mother lost her life during a routine checkup at the hospital on October 31, succumbing to a sudden cardiac arrest.

Despite the devastating loss, her newborn baby has been successfully saved by the medical team and is currently under the care of the ICU in a private hospital.

Kishor Satya, her co-star from the television series “Karuthamuthu,” expressed his grief in an Instagram post, saying,  ‘Last night while going to the hospital, the sight of sadness rained in my mind.’

A doctor by profession, Dr. Priya was one of the most popular actors working in India.

Local media reported she worked at the PRS hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, in the southern state of Kerala.

She reportedly took a break from work while she was pregnant to spend more time with her family.
