Nicolas Jackson scored a hat-trick as Chelsea demolished nine-man Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 at the White Hart Lane Stadium in London.

Nobody gave Chelsea a chance, but the two red cards did the magic.

Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, who now manages Chelsea returned to his former base with a comprehensive win.

The host took the lead six minutes into the game. Dejan Kulusevski tried his luck from the edge of the box and his shot took a deflection and went past the stranded Robert Sanchez.

Cristian Gabriel Romero was sent off on 33 minutes for a disgraceful challenge on a Chelsea player, earning the visitors a penalty.

Cole Palmer brilliantly executed the penalty kick, sending the ball in off the right post to make it 1-1.

Destiny Udogie was sent off on 55 minutes after he received the second yellow card.
With Tottenham down to nine men, Chelsea mounted the pressure and were in front on the 75th minute.

Nicolas Jackson scored after an assist by Raheem Sterling that allowed him to tap the ball into an empty net.

Chelsea made it 1-3 four minutes into added time. Conor Gallagher sprayed a pass out to Jackson and he had an easy job to slot the ball into an empty net.

Three minutes later, Cole Palmer passed to Jackson, who got one-on-one with the keeper. His dummy grounded the keeper and he had a simple task lifting the ball over him into the net for his hat-trick.
