A physically challenged street hawker, named Eniola, who disguised himself as a woman to sell goods on the street, has now admitted to his true gender.

Previously, Eniola faced accusations of deception after attracting the attention of renowned persons such as Nigerian skitmaker Brain Jotter, Afrobeats Superstar Davido, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Brain Jotter had encountered the street vendor while he appeared as a disabled woman and decided to provide financial support. However, later it came to his attention that the individual he believed to be a woman was, in fact, a man who had dressed as a woman.

On Wednesday November 8, a bold claim was made, suggesting that the hawker’s real name is Sultan. The claim was also supported with photographs of Sultan dressed in male school uniforms and attire.

It also came to light that this street vendor had received assistance from others in the past.

Reports online revealed that a group of compassionate individuals leased an apartment for the street vendor and supplied makeup equipment to support their transition to a different livelihood. However, the vendor seems determined to continue deceiving people on the streets.

Speculations was also made about Brain Jotter, the person who brought attention to the vendor’s situation, implying a potential connection to the vendor’s questionable methods, particularly in light of a new fundraising campaign for those with physical disabilities.

Eniola took to social media to clarify the situation, revealing that he had assumed the appearance of a woman to elicit help from people.
