Dino Melaye wins polling unit by landslide

The governorship candidate of the PDP in the Kogi governorship election, Dino Melaye, has won his polling unit in Ayetoro-Gbede, Kogi State.

According to results announced at his unit, Dino scored over 210 votes while APC’s candidate Ahmed Ododo got only 22 votes.

Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) came a distant third with 7 votes.

Below is the result announced at Melaye’s polling unit.

PU: Open space, Iluafon quarters, RA: Aiyetoro 1, Ijumu LGA, Kogi .
APC – 22
PDP – 210
SDP – 1
PRP – 2
NRM – 1
ADP – 1
ADC – 7

Meanwhile, the polling unit recorded a low voter turnout as 252 voters were accredited out of 819 registered voters.

Dino Melaye and his followers also boycotted the exercise.

According to Dino, the outcome of the governorship election has been predetermined.
