Governor Hope Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was on Sunday declared winner of the Imo Governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He has thus, won a second term of four years. The governor recorded a landslide victory over his competitors, winning in all 27 local government areas of Imo.
Uzodimma polled 540,308 votes to emerge winner of the election, while Anyanwu of the PDP scored 71,503 votes to come second while Achonu of the LP got 64,081 to come third.
