The suspects include 16 males and eight females from Cameroonians, and a male and a female from Burkina Faso.

According to the Edo Police Command spokesman, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, the suspects were arrested at a hotel in Afua village in Uzaure, Etsako West local government area of the State, following a credible intelligence received by the DPO of Jattu divisional police headquarters.

“Upon interrogation, it was discovered that they could not effectively express themselves in the English language. The little they could say was to identify their own country and that is how we were able to know the numbers from each country.
