Renowned Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has revealed that he has been without employment for an extended period.

Responding to a widely circulated video showing him working as a fuel attendant at a Delta State gas station, the actor expressed his struggle to make ends meet despite his status as a respected figure in the industry.

In a video circulating on social media, Anuku appealed to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and his fans for assistance.

Anuku emphasized his contributions to the country and his status as a legend, yet highlighted his prolonged unemployment, stating, “I have worked for this country. I have attained the height of being a legend. But I’ve had no job for, God knows, how many years. And I expect that Nigerians will also know that I did it all for them”.
