Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has reacted to the claim she charges $500,000 per verse.
Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, was asked by a fan if Tems would be part of the deluxe edition of his album ‘Eziokwu,’ the ‘Declan Rice’ artiste responded that he couldn’t afford her fee.
According to him, Tems charges $500,000 per verse, approximately ₦402,470,000.00.
“Hope Tems is on the deluxe,” the user asked.
In his response, Odumodublvck said she would not be on the project, adding that “a verse from Tems costs $500,000”.
“1 verse from Tems na 500k USD. Even Hushpuppi leg go first shake before e tremble,” he wrote.
Tems has however reacted to the claim but she neither confirms nor disputes the claim.
“Excuse me? LET TEMS BREATHE,” she quoted Odumodublvck’s tweet.
