Newcastle United demolished Chelsea 4-1 on Saturday at the St. James’ Park Stadium to move sixth on the Premier League table.

The homers opened the scoring 13 minutes into the game. Lewis Miley fed the ball through to Alexander Isak, who picked up the pass inside the box and quickly sent it into the middle of the goal.

Chelsea equalised midway into the first half. A curled free kick from the edge of the penalty box by Raheem Sterling went into the back of the net.

In the 60th minute, Newcastle made it 2-1. Jamaal Lascelles leapt to connect with a delightful cross and placed his header inside the left post.

A minute later, a catastrophic error from the opponent gifted a chance to Joelinton, who rolled the ball into the back of the net from close range.

Reece James was sent off in the 73rd minute after receiving a second yellow card.

Newcastle made it 4-1 seven minutes to duration after Anthony Gordon connected with a pass inside the box and slammed home into the bottom right corner.
