Court adjourns Emefiele’s trial till January 18

Despite the bail decision, Emefiele remains in custody, having not yet fulfilled the bail conditions. During the court appearance, he was escorted by armed personnel from the Nigerian Correctional Service.

The Federal Capital Territory High Court has adjourned till January 18, 2024, for the continuation of the case in the alleged procurement fraud suit against the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
