Hamas has released 12 more hostages, including 10 Israelis, according to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The fresh hostages were released on the extended fifth day of pause in fighting between Israel and Hamas.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had said “based on information that was received from the Red Cross, 12 hostages – including ten Israelis and two foreign nationals – are on their way toward Israeli territory.”

The IDF also said later that “A short while ago, Red Cross representatives transferred the 12 hostages to Egypt. The released hostages’ convoy is currently making its way through Egypt to the meeting point with our soldiers at Kerem Shalom.
