Former Big Brother Naija, Tacha Akide, has continued to receive backlash on social media after rebuffing a fan trying to take a picture with her.
The reality TV star performed as a host at the recent Idahams ‘Man of Fire’ concert in Lagos.
After the show, the reality star took a photo shoot with some fans on the backstage.
During the session, an apparently male fan attempted to wrap his hand around Tacha’s waist but she rejected him.
Tacha’s gesture did not sit well with some Nigerians, who took to social media to rebuke her after she shared the clip online.
Some users claimed Tacha shared the video to gain more popularity while others claimed she “humiliated” the fan.
“One thing I’ve learnt in crisis management, use the crisis to your favour if you can. Obviously, Tacha humiliated this guy by posting this video online and now he’s demanding a public apology but it shouldn’t stop there,” one user wrote.
The fan had on Tuesday demanded a public apology from Tacha for what he alleged amounted to defamation.
Tacha has, however not publicly responded to the controversy.
