The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of those appointed into its Standing Committees on Establishment, Finance, Publicity, Intergovernmental, Conflict and Resolutions.
The Finance Committee has several billionaires included into it. They are the Chairman and founder of BUA Cement, Abdulsamad Rabiu; Chairman of Oriental Energy Resources, Alhaji Mohammed Indimi; Chairman of Bet9ja, Kunle Soname; Tein Jack Rich and others.
Also on the Finance Committee are the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio; Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy, Wale Edun; Governor Hope Uzodimma; James Faleke, Solomon Adeola, Femi Pedro, Uguru Matthew Ofoke, who is chairman of the committee, among others.
The Publicity Committee has Felix Morka as Chairman, while Minister of Information and Strategy, Muhammad Idris; Muhammad Garba; Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, among others are members of the committee.
The Conflict and Reconciliation Committee has Chief Bisi Akande as its chairman, while Aminu Masari is the deputy chairman and Dr. Nkem Okeke is the secretary. There are 23 others who are members of the committee.
However, a statement from the APC said the Standing Committees would be inaugurated on Wednesday, 6 December, 2023 at the party’s National Secretariat, Abuja.
