Controversial artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, proudly asserted his substantial wealth, stating he quietly possesses millionaire status and holds ownership of approximately 30 residences scattered across Lagos and Ogun states.

The ‘Zazu’ singer also expressed his involvement in significant philanthropic endeavours, believing that his generosity toward the less fortunate contributes to his growing wealth.

During a conversation on the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Adesope Olajide, Portable emphasized the profitability of the music industry, likening the earnings from music to a form of lucrative financial gain akin to money ritual.

He declared, “I’m a superstar, man of the people. People come to me for aid and I have to give them because the more I give them, the more I blow”.

Asserting his affluence, Portable mentioned, “I have a lot of money. The amount of money I spray… I’m not normal but I get 30 mansions. I have houses in Abule-Egba, Ikeja, Sango-Otta, and Abeokuta. I just bought the houses down because of tomorrow. Nobody knows that I’m the owner of those houses.”

He also claimed superiority in wealth compared to many of his industry counterparts, suggesting that some of them flaunt fake lifestyles on social media.
