Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has reacted following comments made by fellow actress Lola Alao on social media.
Lola took to her Instagram to share a video where she mentioned how Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, and another individual, Sharon, had urged her privately not to confront Iyabo publicly.
However, Lola couldn’t contain her thoughts. She recounted Iyabo‘s visit to Canada, where she helped promote Lola’s clothing line, leading to a surge in orders from around the world.
Expressing her gratitude, Lola commended Iyabo for significantly boosting her sales and referred to her as a truly blessed individual.
“I brought Iyabo Ojo’s issue to you. Despite Toyin, Mercy, and Sharon pleading with me not to, I felt compelled because Iyabo really bothered me. During my time in Canada, Iyabo Ojo endorsed one of my clothing pieces. Since then, it’s been non-stop. People from London, America, and Canada have been reaching out, wanting the exact clothes Iyabo wore. How many of you have younger sisters who can promote your clothes to this extent? I appreciate you, I love you. I’ve been losing sleep over the orders. God will bless you, and those who don’t see your blessings don’t know you.”
Responding to this, Iyabo initially felt apprehensive upon watching the video, questioning her actions towards Lola.
However, after watching it in full, she felt reassured.
“When I first saw this video, I was like wetin I do again ooo. My heart don adjust back, thanks for the appreciation post, you’re a wonderful soul, I got your back, any day anytime, my darling sisto of life, @iamlolaalao love you scatter”.
