In a notable development, the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, Ogun Chapter (FIBAN), has appointed Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo as its Special Adviser.
Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, ran for governor in Ogun State with the New Nigeria People’s Party during the last general election.
In the 2023 general election, Ajadi shared his vision of rebuilding trust in public office and creating a government that prioritizes the well-being of the Ogun people. His strong dedication to these principles struck a chord with the voters.
He boldly stated that he would accept prosecution if he could not fulfill his promises to the Ogun people.
Ajadi is widely recognized for his philanthropic efforts in Nigeria and has also made a significant impact in the business world, earning the title of a business mogul in Nigeria.
On December 5, 2023, Comrade Aderoju Adejare and the state delegation visited Ajadi at Bullion Go-Neat Global Limited headquarters, appointing him as the special adviser to the FIBAN Ogun Chapter.
Adejare praised Ajadi for his philanthropic efforts, citing his extensive experience and commitment to humanity as decisive factors in his selection.
Acknowledging Ajadi’s noteworthy contributions to grassroots development, Com. Kikelomo Ogunsina, the National General Secretary of FIBAN, lauded him as an exemplary citizen with an untarnished image.
In response, Ajadi expressed gratitude for the appointment, vowing not to take the privilege for granted. He highlighted his joy in collaborating with media practitioners, recognizing the indispensable role of the media in national development.
“I have always found joy in working with media practitioners as I am also part of them. The role of the media in national development cannot be underestimated,” he said.
Emphasizing his vision for a better Nigeria, he underscored the crucial role of the media in achieving this goal.
The association officially decorated Ajadi, confirming his appointment as Special Adviser during the event.
