Popular US-based Nigerian dancer and singer Korra Obidi has taken to social media to call out her ex-husband, Justin Dean, for allegedly failing to pay child support.
Obidi in a video posted on her Instagram page, accused Dean of not contributing financially to the care of their two children.
Obidi said she is struggling to shoulder the financial burden alone.
She also addressed criticism from people who have suggested that she should send her children to public school.
The entertainer said the “free” schools do not meet her standards.
She added that she had already chosen a relatively affordable school for her children.
“Health care, nothing, food, nothing, I am asking for nothing, all I am asking from you is for you to play your part because all on me is too much e go choke,” she said in a mixture of pidgin English.
“Athena is almost joining and imagining If I have to pay all of them together by only myself, this fight e no go fit end like that.
“And all the people saying free school, come to LA and look for free public school and see where your child would end up, not for my June and Athena.
“The place I put them is not the most expensive, there are more expensive ones.
“There is one that I wanted June to go to. If I was the only one paying for that one, by now I probably would be in the middle of the street dancing to pay for that one because it is not cheap.”
Dean had accused his wife of cheating, being a narcissist and not taking responsibility for her actions as he gave reasons for them getting a divorce.
He also claimed that his wife’s private was named after a club.
In one of his posts, he apologised to fans that felt they had a perfect marriage, stating that likes and views should not be the highlight of a marriage.
Korra and Dean got married in 2018 and have two children together .The marriage crashed in March 2022.
A few weeks after their divorce, Obidi accused her ex-husband of stealing $5000 from their joint account.
In November last year, she also alleged that Dean demanded spousal support from her.
Earlier this year, Obidi claimed she paid half of her bride price. She also alleged she paid $50,000 to Dean just to see her kids.
Dean, however, accused his ex-wife of ruining his reputation in July.
He said her actions caused him harm and made him depressed.
