The All Progressives Congress chieftain and former Minister of Works, Dayo Adeyeye, has disclosed that if President Bola Tinubu hadn’t removed the subsidy Nigeria would have grounded to a halt by now.

Adeyeye stated that after winning the presidential primaries of the APC against all odds and the ensuing general election, the President was fighting another round of battle to liberate  Nigerians from hardship and every form of knot.

The chieftain, who is the National Chairman of South West Agenda spoke in Jos on Thursday when the organization action which championed the election of Tinubu declined palliative distribution to advocate in Plateau State.

The grieving over that a lot of damage was done to the Nigerian economy by the past government which made things strenuous for the present administration when it assumed office.

“The present government led by President Bola Tinubu is not interested in painting the last government bad but  Nigeria would have grounded to a halt without fuel subsidy removal. He said.

“Do you know that the oil we are selling today, the money was collected a long time ago before this administrative came on board? So, When you hear that 1.8 million barrels are sold, the money is not just there. Things are as bad as that. That is the situation as we have it but President Bola Tinubu can not say it openly”

Adeyeye assured that the president was doing everything feasible to change the condition for the good of Nigerians while calling on the people to prop up his renewed hope agenda.
