Miserable Manchester United crumbled to a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday to continue their woes in the premier league.
United despite a dominant ball possession were woeful in front of goal. All three of their shots on goal did not produce any goal, while the visitors were clinical, scoring three goals from their four shots on goal.
Bournemouth took the lead just five minutes into the game. Lewis Cook displayed great vision and sent a pass to Dominic Solanke, who showed brilliant composure inside the box to bury the ball into the bottom left corner to make it 0-1.
Midway into the second half, Philip Billing rose highest and produced a brilliant header that sailed into the roof of the net after beating the goalkeeper.
In the 73rd minute, Marcos Senesi out-jumped the defence inside the six-yard box to meet a cross from the corner kick and scored with a great header into the top right corner to make the score 0-3.
United players were booed off after they suffered a humiliating hammering at home to Bournemouth. The defeat comes three days after they beat Chelsea 2-1 at home.
Four minutes into added time, the visitors scored their fourth goal, but United have VAR to thank as the goal was ruled out for handball.
