Rivers: Federal lawmakers lead supporters in solidarity walk for Fubara (Photos)

Some federal lawmakers and their supporters have gathered on the popular UTC junction in Port Harcourt, getting set for a massive walk to Government’s House in solidarity with Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Lawmakers spearheading the peaceful protest in solidarity with Fubara are: Hon. Boma Goodhead of Asari Toru/Akuku Toru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Hon Awaji-Inombek Abiante representing Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro federal constituency.

Both federal Lawmakers are already at UTC at time filing this report awaiting the arrival of their colleagues.

Our Correspondent reports that Hon.Boma Goodhead, a two-time lawmaker in the House Representatives is a relation of the popular Ex-Niger Delta agitator,Asari Dokubo.

The peaceful protesters are saying that Governor Fubara is being intimidated and chocked up because he refused to be loyal to Nyesom Wike, his godfather, but to the people who gave him the mandate to govern them.

The solidarity walk is coming amidst the gale of resignations of Commissioners in Fubara’s Cabinet in the past 48 hours.
