Nigerian singer Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong, has called out his colleague, Kingsley Okonkwo, fondly called Kcee, over his royalties with ex-label Five Star Music.
The singer left Five Star Music — owned by Emeka Okonkwo, a businessman who happens to be the brother of Kcee — in 2016.
Harrysong said he refused to renew his contract because of a need to “grow” in the music industry.
Five Star Music, however, accused the singer of breaching his 3-year contract. The label said he was meant to release three albums, but he never came through on his end of the agreement.
Both parties have since been on a warpath, leading to Harrysong being arrested twice.
But in a recent post via X, Harrysong alleged that Kcee has been collecting all royalties from his hit songs for seven years.
The ‘Reggae Blues’ hitmaker also pleaded with Kcee, who he referred to as a “bully,” to grant him “some percentage of my royalties”.
“I’m Here To beg you all to help me and follow me. Beg Kingsley Okonkwo, known as Kcee. To refund my money and release my songs,” he wrote.
“For more than 7 years now, he’s been the one collecting 100 percent of my Royaltie from Reggea blues, baba for the girls, Samankwe, better Pikin, Ofeshe, (all my big songs). He collects one hundred percent of all my royalties, it’s not fair.
“At least, he can take his percentage, and give me wat is rightfully mine.
“I started this by begging, na beg I Dey beg am, I know he likes to bully, he’s the power mike, help me beg him, the songs are mine, he should at least be fair to give me wat is rightfully mine.
“May God not let us work, and another man just be reaping our hard end sweet in Jesus name.”

In September, when Mohbad died, Harrysong also alleged that he was tormented, attacked, and abused for seeking personal growth while at Five Star Music.
Harrysong added that one of his friends vowed to celebrate if he (Harrysong) died of hunger and depression.
The singer revealed that he was alive today because of the few that stood by him because they knew the true story and refused to be influenced by lies just to kill an innocent man.
He also went on to advise record labels to stop their tyranny and also killing and destroying young talents just because they want to prove label power and supremacy.
He concluded by sharing his condolences on the death of former Marlian Music Record label artist Mohbad.
