JAMB hikes registration fees for UTME, releases important information

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has hiked the registration fees for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The board in series of posts on its X handle said the registration fee for UTME is now N6,200 as against the former which was N4,800.

JAMB also increased the fee for those wanting to write the Mock examination to N1,500 as against the former, which is N1,000.

According to the board, “This is to inform all prospective 2024 UTME/DE candidates that creation of profiles for registration has officially started, while the sale of application documents would commence on Monday 15th January, 2024.

“You are to please take note of the following important dates for the coming UTME/DE exercise:

“3.Deadline for the 2024 UTME Registration: 26th February, 2024.
