Osimhen signs new deal with Napoli

Nigerian striker and current CAF African player of the year, Victor Osimhen, has signed a new contract for his club Napoli.

Confirming the development was Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, who wrote on his X handle: “Victor Osimhen signs new deal at Napoli — confirmed. Documents also in place.”

Romano had on Friday written: “The agreement between Napoli and Victor Osimhen on new deal is 100% done and confirmed”.

Osimhen’s contract, it was learnt, would last until June 2026, and it entails a huge salary raise  and a release clause.
