The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has punctured rumours about a new jersey for the Super Eagles ahead of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2024.
The NFF, in a statement on X on Friday said rumours about a new jersey launch between NIKE and the senior Men’s National team circulating around social media had been brought to its notice.
The federation said the claim was false, saying at the moment there was no jersey being launched for the Super Eagles.
The NFF wrote: “Rumours about a new jersey launch between NIKE and the senior Men’s National team circulating around social media have been brought to our notice.
“We want to inform the general public that this claim is not true. At the moment, we have no jersey being launched for the Super Eagles for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to be held in Cote d’Ivoire next month.”
