Controversial street singer Habeeb Okikiola Oyegbile, popularly known as Portable, has reacted to a rematch call by Nollywood actor Charles Okocha after their celebrity boxing match.
Portable had defeated Okocha on Wednesday, December 26, 2023, in a ring fight fixed to settle a monetary dispute between them.
Expressing his grievances about Portable’s victory in a post on his Instagram page on Friday, Charles Okocha accused the referee and the match organizers of rigging and demanded a rematch.
However, reacting to the actor’s demand in a trending video on social media, Portable rejected a rematch with the actor.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker stated that if Okocha wants any rematch, he should go and meet Anthony Joshua.
The singer noted that he effortlessly beat Okocha during the celebrity boxing match.
He said, “If you want a rematch, call Anthony Joshua, I have already won the match.”
The highly entertaining bout followed after the singer claimed the actor ripped him of money.
Last month, Portable accused the actor of refusing to pay him N20 million after an endorsement deal.
He claimed Okocha was paid N40 million but the actor refused to give him his share of the money.
In his reaction, Okocha said Portable had reached out to him for “friendship,” saying he would later invite Portable to an event because he “wanted to help a brother.”
Okocha claimed the singer did nothing at the event, arguing that no agreements were signed. He added that he “transferred a whopping N5 million” to Portable after the event.
After a lengthy online spat, the pair resolved to settle their scores with a ring fight.
