Woman killed in Abuja Airport Road crash

A woman was killed in  road crash that occurred along the outbound lane of the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Expressway, commonly referred to as Airport Road, in Abuja.

This happened on Monday evening.

A truck conveying gravel was said to have collided with two smaller vehicles  leading to the death of the woman. Another person was said to have sustained mild injuries in the accident.

Officials of the Directorate of Road Traffic Services, the Federal Road Safety Corps, and  police  operatives moved to the scene to manage the traffic gridlock that ensued after the crash.
