The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Nasir Idris of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the governor of Kebbi State.
A five-member panel of the apex court by in a unanimous decision, dismissed the appeal by filed by Bande Aminu, and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party.
Reading the lead judgement, Justice Uwani Abba-Aji, said the appeal lacked merit.
