‘Unavailable,’ a hit song by Nigeria superstar, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke, has occupied the entire top 10 spots on the Amazon ‘Best Sellers in Songs’ chart in the United States.
In the chart released on Monday, the coveted spots were filled by various versions of ‘Unavailable’.
‘Unavailable’ produced by Ragee and Magicsticks is a hit song from ‘Timeless’, Davido’s fourth studio album, which was released on March 31, 2023.
Since its release, several artistes and producers have put out their spins on the song.
On August 14, Davido also teamed up with Major Lazer, the Jamaican-American electronic music trio, for a new version of ‘Unavailable’.
A few days after, the singer dropped another remix for ‘Unavailable’, featuring the US rapper, Latto.
Some of the versions currently dominating the Amazon ‘Best Sellers in Songs (top 100 paid)’ chart includes ‘Unavailable’ explicit, ‘Unavailable’ Latto remix, ‘Unavailable’ slowed down, and ‘Unavailable’ sped up.
Others are ‘Unavailable’ acapella, ‘Unavailable’ Major Lazer remix, and ‘Unavailable’ Sean Paul, Ding Dong remix.
As of Tuesday morning, ‘Unavailable’ still retains seven spots on the chart.
With strings of awards and honorary mentions, Davido has established himself as one of the leading names in the Nigerian music industry and beyond.
The singer recently received his first-ever Grammy nomination in three categories, including Best Global Album’ for ‘Timeless’, Best Global Music Performance’ for ‘Feel’, and ‘Best African Performance’ for ‘Unavailable’.
In December 2023, Rihanna, the Barbadian singer, named ‘Unavailable’ as her favorite song for the year.
