Former Big Brother Naija reality show winner Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has stated that that “polygamy” is strictly for the rich.
According to her, actor Yul Edochie couldn’t manage polygamy because he is not “very rich.”
She said billionaire businessman and lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko is managing polygamy very well because of his wealth.
Speaking in the latest episode of her podcast, Spill With Phyna, the reality star said: “Yul [Edochie] was very rich, he would have been able to manage both May and Judy quietly. Nobody needs to disturb anybody.
“Did you see Ned [Nwoko]? No stress. Soft life. Peace of mind. That’s what we call polygamy. That’s why I said it [polygamy] is strictly for the rich. I’m not saying Yul is not rich. He is rich but aargh.”
Phyna won the 7th season of Big Brother Naija (Level Up) after entering the house as tenth housemate on 23 July 2022.
During the season finale of the show on 2 October 2022, she was declared the winner scoring 40.74% of the final votes ahead of Bryann with 26.74% of the total votes cast and was entitled to the ₦100 000 000 (one hundred million naira) grand prize, making her the second female to win the show, three years after Mercy Eke won it.
