Trump and Haley

Former U.S. President, Donald Trump has won the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary, defeating his only challenger, Nikki Haley.

This is the second state contest to find the party’s presidential candidate and Trump has won the two.

Haley has however, vowed to fight on despite her loss, causing Trump to fume in his victory speech that his last remaining rival is an “imposter.”

Out of the 90 percent votes that had come in, Trump has won 54.6 percent, while Haley has won 43.2 percent.

In a series of posts on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, Trump repeatedly referred to Haley as “birdbrain” – a nickname he has often repeated since last year.
