Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Tacha Akide, has responded to criticism from Sarah Martins, Micheal Uba, and others regarding her controversial advice on the faithfulness of partners in a relationship.

Tacha, in a video that has gone viral suggested that a woman is not obliged to be faithful to her boyfriend unless they are engaged or married.

She argued that faithfulness should only be expected after a formal commitment has been made.

However, Tacha’s advice attracted backlash from the public and fellow celebrities who accused her of preaching immorality.

While addressing the criticisms on Twitter, Tacha expressed frustration with those who hastily judged her based on a short teaser without considering the full context of her conversation.

Tacha criticized what she described as a ck of critical thinking on the internet, labelling some individuals as educated yet lacking in intelligence.

“A lot of people on this internet are not smart. You act as if you have sense but you don’t have sense and that’s why you need to pass English before going to school in an English-speaking country. Because speaking in English, typing in English, and communicating in English doesn’t mean you don’t have sense.

“Tell me why you guys are getting upset and angry and reacting over a 30-second teaser, where the full conversation is over an hour. You are using 30 seconds to get angry. That’s why it’s so easy for fake narratives or fake news to go on the internet because of people like you. Most of you are gullible, you don’t think for yourself. Because the crowd is going left, you must go left. You can’t think for yourself.

Keep crying because at the end of the day, I am smarter than you”.
