Renowned Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has taken to Instagram to express her suprise over a recent trend she deemed as “indecency in the highest order.”
In a post accompanied by a pregnancy photoshoot image depicting a naked man and woman, presumably a couple expecting a child, Edochie voiced her anger at the direction modern society is taking.

She reminisced about a time when pregnancy photoshoots were more modest affairs, typically featuring women revealing their bellies alone.

Edochie questioned whether this was an appropriate way for the couple to express gratitude for their impending blessing and highlighted the potential emotional repercussions should tragedy befall the pregnancy after such a shoot.
Expressing her anger, Edochie emphasized the need for social media, particularly in Nigeria for interaction. While acknowledging the platform’s role in addressing unemployment and poverty, she revealed its negative impact on moral standards, citing the alarming trend among pregnant women engaging in disturbing photoshoots.
