Nigerian singer Terry G has publicly criticized his former managers, alleging that they frequently double-booked him for events without his consent, leading to his unexplained failure to show up at events he was billed to perform.
In a social media post on Sunday, Terry G expressed regret to event organizers for the misconduct of his ex-managers, accusing them of accepting bookings on his behalf without his authorization and failing to reimburse promoters.
He stated, “To all show promoters: I worked with a dubious team (managers), which created a false narrative about me.
“They accepted bookings without my knowledge. I’m only human and I use this platform to apologise to you all. I’m happy to clear this up, as it has been [the] reason why you all haven’t been hearing or seeing Terry G. Thanks.”
These post follows Terry G’s recent announcement of his retirement from the music industry.
