Sensational singer Ayra Starr has revealed how she is preparing for the upcoming 66th Grammy Awards where her chart-topping single ‘Rush’ has been nominated in the Best African Song Performance category.
When asked during an interview with Cool FM regarding her readiness for the prestigious event, Ayra Starr affirmed that she is very ready for the grand ceremony.
Ayra also expressed her intention to indulge in her favorite Chinese restaurant before initiating a video call with her mother after her win at the Grammys.
“I have everything planned out,” she emphasized, detailing her preparedness down to her attire, walk, and acceptance speech for the occasion.
As a nominee in the new category alongside Davido, Asake, Olamide, and South Africa’s Tyla, Ayra Starr shared her anticipation for the event, also with acclaimed Grammy-winner Burna Boy.
Furthermore, Ayra disclosed her alternative plans, stating that if she doesn’t secure the victory this year, she has her attire and acceptance speech ready for subsequent years, including 2025.
Scheduled for February 5th at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles, USA, the 66th Grammy Awards will be hosted by the renowned South African comedian Trevor Noah.
