Kanye West confronts photojournalist over wife control questions (Video)

American rapper Kanye West has engaged in a tense confrontation with Paparazzi over inquiries regarding his wife, Bianca Censori, and her perceived “lack of free will”.

The incident unfolded as Kanye was on his way to the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony honouring R&B artiste Charlie Wilson on Monday.

A female photojournalist from TMZ, Paparazzi, approached Kanye and posed the question: “People want to know if Bianca has her free will.

Some people say you are controlling her”.

Kanye reacted strongly, seizing the Paparazzi’s phone.

Expressing anger at the question’s disrespectfulness, Kanye accused Paparazzi of feeling entitled because she is white.

He emphasized the expectation of mutual respect, regardless of race.

“You think because you are a white woman that you can walk up on me like that and ask me some dumb ass shit like that?

“You asked me if my wife has free will. A disrespectful question to ask a grown-ass superhero.”

Despite the reporter’s attempts at reconciliation, Kanye persisted, questioning the appropriateness of intrusive questions into celebrities’ personal lives.

This confrontation follows recent online criticism aimed at Kanye for sharing revealing photos of Censori on his Instagram, following their private wedding ceremony in January 2023.
