The biggest convergence of gospel musicians in Ibadan will be witnessed this evening in the Oyo State capital.
The occasion is the twelve-hour interdenominational annual praise concert, tagged Judah Mega Praise, which usually heralds the birthday anniversary of the Founder/Chairman of Fresh FM Nigeria, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, MON, who was born on the 1st of February.
This year’s edition of the praise night, which will be held from 6PM to 6AM, comes with a difference as it will be hosted at the iconic Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (formerly known as Liberty Stadium), Oke Ado, Ibadan.
Top gospel singers representing different genres will be on the stage to lead numerous praise and worship sessions, with intermittent words of exhortation from invited men of God.
Prominent among the gospel artistes who have confirmed their attendance are: Evangelist/Dr. Bola Are, Pastor Joseph Adebayo Adelakun (Baba Áyẹwá), Bukola Akinade (Ṣẹnwẹlẹ Jésù), Laolu Gbenjo, Bisi Alawiye-Aluko, Evangelist Elijah Akintunde, Adegbodu Twins, Esther Igbekele, Mike Abdul, Segun Adewole (Kòkòrò), Adukegold, Oluwabunmi Akinnaanu (Omije Ojumi), Babatunse, and a hosts of other song ministers.
Invited men of Ministers of God include: Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji, Prophet P.F. Owa, Pastor Sogo Ọmọ Woli, Prophetess Seyi Bakare and Rev. Edward Alabi.

All arrangements have been concluded to ensure a safe and secure environment for what promises to be the biggest gathering of fans of God’s praise and lovers of the Yinka Ayefele brand in Nigeria and in the diaspora.
Buses have been stationed at four locations on the fringes of Ibadan to convey people to the Liberty Stadium. The buses will be picking up people at Ojoo, Iwo road, Apata and Toll Gate.
Providing safety security cover in and around the venue are the Nigeria Police, Operation Burst, the Federal Road Safety Corps, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Man o’ War, local vigilante groups, the Nigerian Red Cross.
Comfortable sitting arrangements have also been provided for everyone attending the event with quality, state-of-the-art sound and visual equipment, with conveniences.
In the usual words of Dr. Yinka Ayefele, “… there’s nothing special about Ayefele, it’s the Grace of God I enjoy”.
Therefore, Ibadan rises today to celebrate the grace and mercy of God on the enigma as he marks another anniversary of his birth.
