Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner Phyna, has revealed her preference in terms of a a life partner.

During an Instagram live session with her followers, she stated that she would like to have a life partner who shares her lively personality rather than someone who is reserved.

Expressing her fondness for a partner with whom she can share lighthearted moments, Phyna emphasised her inclination towards a partner whose playfulness mirrors her own, even if it means deviating from her previous preference for a quieter mate.

Acknowledging that personal preferences vary, Phyna admitted her initial desire for a reserved partner. But she said she later reconsidered her preference and now desires someone outgoing as a life partner.

Reflecting on past experiences, she recounted the challenges she had with an Igbo partner whose family involvement in their affairs was overwhelming.

She added that as a result, she is now leaning towards considering individuals from Edo or Yoruba backgrounds as potential partners.

“I want to marry a lively person like me, someone you wouldn’t easily know that we are husband and wife. I want to marry someone that is my spec, someone that we are alike. Someone who has a Shallipopi vibe.

Everyone has their choice, I don’t want a quiet man. Before I wanted a quiet man but I changed my mind. I want to marry someone that is like me.

I would have liked an Igbo man, but the last Igbo man I was with (laughs). Igbo men I feel like their family are too involved in their business. I think I would rather go for an Edo man of Yoruba man, I like Yoruba, I have always wanted to get married to a Yoruba man”.
