Multi platinum-selling artist Chukwuka Ekweani, better known as Ckay has provided more insight into his collaboration situation with fellow artiste BNXN, previously known as Buju.

During a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, CKay revealed that his 2023 hit track, ‘Hallelujah,’ initially featured Seyi Vibez and BNXN.

However, the version with Blaqbonez was the one released.

He clarified that BNXN opted to be removed from the song, while Seyi Vibez’s team failed to finalize his verse. CKay expressed uncertainty regarding BNXN’s decision to withdraw from the track.

“One thing I can tell you is that BNXN asked to be taken off the record [‘Hallelujah’]. Why he asked to be taken off the record is a question you will have to ask him,” he explained.

CKay emphasized that he doesn’t regret releasing the version featuring Blaqbonez, highlighting its success as a hit.
