Singer Reekado Banks has extended heartfelt support to fellow singer Wizkid amidst concerns from fans about his recent appearance.

Wizkid, who recently lost his mother, shared that he’s been struggling since her death.

Photos of the renowned artiste sparked worry among supporters, prompting him to open up about his emotional challenge.

Acknowledging the fans’ worries, Reekado Banks empathized with Wizkid, citing his own experience of losing his mother in September 2022, which profoundly affected him.

In a message of concern, Reekado Banks expressed understanding of Wizkid’s situation, emphasizing the need to persist despite the internal struggles.

Reekado Banks‘ message reads:

“I feel my bro Wiz!! I’ve been there since September 2022, when I lost my mum.
 
Many don’t understand the struggle; but soldier man gats keep showing up like nothing happened.
 
We Move ️”

Wizkid lost his mother in August 2023 and she was buried the following month.

Born on July 14, 1957, Jane is survived by her husband,, Muniru Olatunji Balogun, and four children.

The Afrobeats star stated that he would be taking four or five years off the music scene.

He added that he is considering taking up football or golf.
