Joy Ayomide Esiet, popularly known online as Khloegram, is a Nigerian TikTok star who has taken the social media world by storm. With over 2 million followers and a string of brand deals to her name, she’s become a force to be reckoned with. But her journey to the top wasn’t always easy.
Khloe is the first of two children, raised in Lagos. She first started creating content on TikTok in 2020, drawn to the platform’s creative potential. “I saw TikTok as a way to express myself and connect with people who shared my interests,” she says. “I didn’t expect it to blow up the way it did.”
Her early videos were a mix of lip-syncing, dancing, and skits. She quickly gained a following for her relatable content and personality. “I think people connected with the fact that I was just being myself,” she says. “I wasn’t trying to be perfect or fit into any mold.”
As her audience grew, Khloe began to experiment with different types of content. She found her niche in creating dance videos and challenges. Her videos resonated with her audience, who saw themselves reflected in her characters.
“Going viral was a life-changing experience,” she says. “It opened up so many doors for me and allowed me to reach a wider audience.”
Since going viral, Khloe has landed brand deals with major brands.
“Working with brands and other creators has been a lot of fun,” she says. “It’s a great way to connect with new people and learn from each other.”
Khloe is passionate about using her platform to give back to her community. She’s partnered with organizations that support education and mental health awareness in Nigeria.
“I want to use my platform to make a positive impact on the world,” she says. “I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given, and I want to use them to help others.”
Khloe has big plans for the future. She wants to continue creating content that entertains and inspires others. She also wants to use her platform to advocate for social change.
“I’m excited to see what the future holds,” she says. “I know that with hard work and dedication, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.”
