Aspiring Nollywood actress Grace Jimoh has strongly criticized her child’s father and actor Yomi Fabiyi for labeling their son a mistake.
In recent statements that ignited a storm on the internet, Yomi Fabiyi stated that his son, Akorede, was an unintended consequence due to the substandard condoms being imported into the country.
He lamented how these inferior contraceptives contributes to unplanned pregnancies and increases the financial burden on Nigerians.
He placed blame on customs for permitting the importation of low-quality condoms, attributing Nigeria’s woes to this oversight.
Fabiyi further claimed that Akorede’s conception resulted from a failed family planning effort, implying that the government should bear responsibility for such circumstances.
In response, Grace Jimoh took to her Instagram account to lambast Yomi Fabiyi for disrespecting their son, disputing his statement about the circumstances of their child’s birth.
She firmly stated that Fabiyi was overjoyed when she informed him of her pregnancy and accused him of fabricating the statement to provoke her.
She also took a dig at Fabiyi regarding his alleged loss of custody of his first child, questioning his suitability as a parent.
Her post read, “Ngbeke feeling funky, you wey be say them suppose carry your head go river go wash off dey feel funky, see person wey dey cry say him don get one, when I broke the news of being pregnant, can you explain how you are being happy? He is now a product of torn condom?? Anything for social media validation, or to make me feel bad ? Taaa I owe my child the best of life even death, I will do anything in this world to make him happy don’t worry , I will help you out, it’s just a matter of time, I now see the main reason they ran away with your first child it really worth it, you are not worthy to be called a FATHER”
