Nigerian skit maker Efe Oderhohwo, popularly known as Carter Efe, has denied ripping Portable’s former signee, Young Duu off their hit track ‘Oyinmo’.
According to the skit maker, he invested about N15 million to make the song “Oyinmo,” with singer Young Duu, a success
Young Duu had accused Carter Efe of ripping him off and taking advantage of his situation after he single handedly performed ‘Oyinmo’ song.
Carter Efe claimed in a recent episode of Spill With Phyna that he poured N15 million into making the project a success.
He went on to say that he kept 60% of the song’s proceeds for himself, saving 30% for Young Duu and 10% for the producer.
“I spent close to N15 million on that project, I got 6o% form the project, gave 30% to young duu then 10% to the producer,” he said.
Carter Efe once narrated how he moved to Lagos from Delta State courtesy of Broda Shaggi.
Efe also revealed that he used to be a tailor before hitting stardom.
The ‘Machala’ crooner said for him, comedy was inborn.
He said he loved art right from childhood which made him learn tailoring at some point.
