American singer-songwriter Victoria Monét has singled out “Ojuelegba,” the track by singer Wizkid, as her top pick in the Afrobeats genre.

In a recent interview with popular Nigerian dancer and influencer, Pocolee, Monét also expressed her admiration for Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tyla, the South African artiste who secured the inaugural Best African Music Performance award at the 66th Grammys.

She stated,“Burna Boy and Wizkid are my favourite Afrobeats artists. I can’t pick one. And Tyla too.”

Monét went on to affirm, “Wizkid’s ‘Ojuelegba’ is my favourite Afrobeats song of all time.”

It’s worth noting that Victoria Monét claimed victory in the Best New Artiste category at the 66th Grammys, winning over contenders like Ice Spice, Fred Again, Coco Jones, Jelly Roll, and others to seize the prestigious accolade.
