Nigerian artiste Stanley Omah Didia, known as Omah Lay, has expressed his belief that the global landscape would be significantly impacted should the Super Eagles, emerge victorious in the 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON.
During a conversation with West Ham defender Kurt Zouma, shared on the club’s social media platform, Omah Lay stated on the fervent atmosphere surrounding Nigeria’s performance at the AFCON, noting the enthusiasm of the fans and the palpable excitement across the nation.
Expressing optimism for Nigeria’s chances, Omah Lay declared, “I’m hopeful that this is going to be the year for us. The world is going to shake! The world will shake. Live on the road doesn’t give me time to be in the football vibes as much. But I know for sure that if we win this [AFCON] it’s going to be very huge.”
The Super Eagles are set to face Cote D’Ivoire, the tournament hosts, in the final match scheduled for Sunday.
