The United States National Transportation & Safety Board (NTSB) has issued a preliminary statement over the helicopter crash that killed the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe and others on Friday in California.
According to the statement, “Wigwe’s helicopter crash was caused mainly due to bad weather.
“All 6 on the manifest were confirmed dead, including the pilot and Co-pilot.”
The statement also informed that Wigwe’s assistant pulled out of the journey and travelled by road with their luggage because of the weight.
He is said to be the only survivor, as he disembarked at the last minute.
Other sources, according to NTSB, said they were en route for the Super Bowl.
