Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has reacted to actor Yul Edochie’s inaccurate prediction regarding the Super Eagles.
Prior to the match, Yul had confidently forecasted a favourable outcome for Nigeria, stating that the game wouldn’t require a penalty shootout and that Nigeria would convincingly defeat Ivory Coast.
However, the outcome did not align with his prophecy, leading to widespread criticism from netizens, including Sarah Martins, who happens to be a former close associate of Yul’s wife.
Taking to her Instagram page, Sarah expressed her disappointment, highlighting that this was Yul’s chance to demonstrate his divine calling, which ultimately fell short.
She stated that she had sensed the Super Eagles’ defeat the moment Yul made his prediction, insinuating that his prophetic abilities were lacking credibility.
In a somewhat sarcastic tone, she suggested that if Yul had refrained from making his prophecy, Nigeria might have emerged victorious, adding a hint of mockery to her critique of his supposed prophetic abilities.
