Street artiste Portable has criticized fellow musician Seun Kuti regarding attitudes towards marital infidelity.
This comes after Seun and his wife, Yetunde, shared views on their marriage during a recent interview on the TVC show ‘Your View’.
In the interview, Yetunde expressed her commitment to staying with Seun even if he were to be unfaithful, stating that she wouldn’t leave him for cheating.
Seun echoed her sentiment, emphasizing that their marriage prioritizes love over possession, implying that infidelity wouldn’t necessarily end their relationship.
She said, “There is nothing my husband is going to do that would make me leave him. Even if he cheats on me, I won’t leave him. I am not going to leave my husband because he cheated on me. Nah, that can’t happen.”
Responding to this exchange, Portable voiced his disagreement through an Instagram post.
He stated that he wouldn’t tolerate infidelity from his partners, emphasizing the importance of responsibility in marriage.
Portable suggested that a man who cannot address his wife’s infidelity lacks responsibility, highlighting the potential consequences of ignoring such behavior.
