Adams died in his home in Ikare town at the hospital he was rushed to after complaining of a headache, according to sources in the party.

The spokesperson for Ondo PDP, Mr Kennedy Peretei also confirmed the passage of the party’s chairman.

He said the party would soon make official communication to the media on the matter.

“Yes it is true but we will soon communicate to you properly on the incident,” Peretei said.

Adams was suspended on January 2 by PDP executive officers for alleged anti-party activities.

He was accused of engaging in activities likely to bring the party to disrepute.

The former PDP chairman was said to have been rushed to the hospital where he died.

His suspension was ratified by the State Working Committee on January 4.

He died 43 days after he was suspended from the party.
